Bliven Law Files a New Lawsuit Over Fatal E.coli Outbreak linked to Lakeside Restaurant

A new lawsuit has been filed in federal court in Missoula, Montana, on behalf of Allen Ball, whose wife tragically passed away after dining at the Harbor Grill in Lakeside. The lawsuit is part of a broader legal response following a significant E.coli outbreak in Flathead County in July 2024. Foodborne illness attorney William Marler, representing the victims, has previously filed lawsuits against other local establishments, including the Gunsight Saloon and Hops Downtown Grill, both of which have ties to Lower Valley Processing Inc. and the Range Land and Cattle Company. The outbreak resulted in 22 illnesses, 2 deaths, and 3 cases of acute kidney failure, highlighting the severe impact of food safety lapses in the region.
